From January 18th to the 28th, 2017, the Geese & Fountain at Croxton Kerrial will be featuring a host of Scottish ales, lagers and ciders in our third beer festival. The Scottish Beer Festival, which includes our Burns Night Supper on January 25th, will also include some Scottish bar snacks throughout the ten days of the festival, along with a selection of beers from some of the finest breweries currently operating in Scotland.
Scottish beer has come a long way in a very short space of time, and breweries like Fyne Ales and Harviestoun are now well known amongst beer lovers throughout the UK. But we also have some lesser travelled beers, like Drygate Brewery’s Pale Duke, Orkney’s Red MacGregor, and the current Champion Beer of Scotland, Tryst Brewery’s Raj.
Fifteen cask ales, seven on keg including some outstanding lagers, a cider and a perry mean there’ll be plenty to choose from throughout the festival.
Rooms for bed and breakfast can be booked at a special rate, with a £15 saving on every room for any night while the beer festival is underway – even for the Burns Night supper itself. Just call us on 01476 870350 and mention the ‘Scottish beer festival B&B offer’ to book a room at the special rate.*
Whether you join us for a swift half, or a whole evening, we hope you enjoy a taste of Scotland with us this month.
