Live Music at the Geese and Fountain

Sadly our regular Sunday evening music programme has had to be suspended for the time being.

However, on Sunday, August 9th, from 5pm, the Geese and Fountain beer garden will be open for singers, musicians and other performers in our ‘Folk and Acoustic Club’. Two hours of taking turns performing whatever takes your fancy. We’ve had harps, flutes and a double bass in attendance before now, along with lots of guitars and other stringed instruments. You can, of course, sing unaccompanied, or just come along to listen. But it’s a very friendly group that welcomes all ages and all abilities, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing before the night is out.

We also have Lee Robertshaw performing live in the beer garden on Friday, July 31st, from 7.30pm until it gets too dark for us to see him. Book now if you want a table in the garden that night, or just bring along a deck chair and enjoy live music again!

We’re delighted that Triple J Trio (formed by Croxton Kerrial’s very own rock god, the one and only Jeff Rich) have agreed to perform a beer garden gig on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 30th. Put the date in your diaries now, and check back here for more details very soon.
