This is a special one. The Good Intentions are husband and wife duo R Peter Davies and Gabrielle Monk. Based in Liverpool, they have emerged over the last few years as part of the new wave of UK alt-country acts. Fusing old-time country with a traditional British sensitivity, they have developed their own singular voice and sound. It's the first Monday of March, so it must be time for the Monthly Monday Pub Quiz at the Geese and Fountain. Register from 7.30pm, pick up a picture round and then quizmaster Carl Woods will test you from 8pm. Dinners, pizzas and bar snacks available until 9pm.
