Tastes Of The Vale
Saturday, April 14 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm£37.50
A very special night at the Geese and Fountain, as we showcase some amazing flavours from around the Vale of Belvoir. A seven course tasting menu featuring meats, dairy, fruit and vegetables all farmed on our doorstep. Special accompaniments will include beer and even wine from the Vale as well.
The Geese and Fountain is known for its predominant use of local produce and local ales. Now in a unique tasting menu, we will showcase some of what we consider to be the best farming produce in the world – which happens to come from our very own Vale of Belvoir. It’s no surprise that nearby Melton Mowbray is known as the ‘rural capital of food’ and we have spent the last three years working to source ingredients from farmers, growers and suppliers around the nearby villages to bring the very best of local produce to our kitchen. This year, we’ll be taking this even further, and this night represents a chance to experience an array of special flavours which will help you appreciate the Vale of Belvoir in a whole new way.
Tickets on sale now: £37.50 per person, £20 for children. Contact the pub to reserve your table.
